Nine million people die every year of hunger and hunger-related diseases.

Over three million of those deaths are children under five. In a world of plenty, why is there still not enough food for everyone?

What is Raw Hope?

Raw Hope is an initiative helping the most vulnerable children and families survive the effects of extreme poverty, climate change, famine and conflict in places like Honduras, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, Lebanon and Afghanistan.

With enough nutritious food and funding, we’ll have ENOUGH to end child hunger and malnutrition.

But we need people like you to join us.

Why World Vision?

Our commitment

We’ve been the World Food Programme’s (WFP) largest non-governmental partner for over 18 years, providing food assistance to empower children and families to become self-reliant, now and in the future.

Our promise

We’ve had ENOUGH of childhoods being torn apart by lack of food.  World Vision is pledging $3.4 billion dollars in the next three years towards ending child hunger and malnutrition.

Our response

Our Global Hunger Response is the largest emergency hunger response we have ever undertaken, spending more than $1 billion dollars to help 22 million people in 28 countries. It is the biggest any NGO has ever attempted.
